>Educational programmes

ArchiLab is also a real source of information about research architecture aimed, on the one hand, at a professional public (architects, students, etc.), and, on the other hand, a broader public that is aware of architectural issues and problems in general. Special attention will be given to the introduction of educational programmes designed for the different types of public.

The FRAC Centre's Pedagogical Departement will implement a training programme with the help of mediators (architectural students and teachers) for the benefit of secondary-school students and the general public.

ArchiLab is also included in the educational project of the Orléans Visual Arts Institute, headed by Gérard Baudoin. During this project, twelve students from the school will be involved in a course dealing with exhibition installation and public reception.

Public facilities

A cafeteria and a bookshop will be available for the public during exhibition opening hours. A team of lecturer guides, made up of architectural students, will help the public to access the information on hand.
